Shares of $ASML are still falling. Yesterday, the stock was down less than 6%. In my portfolio, $ASML is currently one of the largest positions. I took advantage of the discount yesterday and overbought.

Did you also buy into $ASMLstock ?

ASML looks interesting and the business is great. I'll probably add their stock to my portfolio soon.

As far as I know, ASML sells its machines to $TSM. $TSM is one of ASML's main customers and is based in Taiwan and if China invades Taiwan and starts a war there, that's the end of it.

I don't think that's going to happen. It would lead to an even bigger war. China is threatening, but will not dare to start a war with Taiwan because it knows that it would be bad for them.

I haven't done it yet. I'm waiting. If the price drops again by the end of September as much as it has in the last 2 weeks, I'll be in for a big one :)

I also bought. The 25% drop from ATH seems very tempting and I can gradually increase my position. If the price bounces back with strong earnings growth in 2025 (which is already predicted) then I want to be bought in already and will be amused at the comments about how overpriced it is again;)

Yeah, the drop is nice. Otherwise, just as you write, it's already predicted to rise to 25, and even so it's been said that the 24 will be kind of temporary.
