I haven't followed this company for a while, but I see that $OXYis down over 15%in the last year , which is again an attractive price in my opinion. Can anyone tell me what is behind the drop from $60+?
Besides, I think the energy sector is in for a golden time, mostly for those oil and gas companies, while renewables will be on the decline in my opinion. I'm basing this on Trump's statements, in case anyone asks :)

I'm still wondering if I'll buy any stocks in this sector, but so far I don't like anything enough to go for it.
Agreed I also think this sector will thrive under Trump. It will probably take a while now because Trump wants to push the price of oil down on the one hand but increase production on the other. So then in the end I think although it will be cheaper, the profits will come due to more production after their greendeal is lifted.
